LEASE SURVEYS

For inclusion into Lease Agreement Documents we will provide a Lease Area Plan computed from accurate field measurements, which will depict the precise lettable floor area of the designated tenancy layout.

Driscolls Land Surveyors are able to provide both Registered Lease Plans and Property Council of Australia Lease Plans.

When conducting lease surveys we follow the guidelines set out by the Property Council of Australia.

There a 3 different measurement guidelines used to determine the lease survey:

1. Gross Lettable Areas: used for calculating tenancy areas in warehouses, industrial buildings, free standing supermarkets and showrooms.
2. Gross Lettable Areas (Retail): used for calculating retail tenancy areas in shopping centres, commercial buildings, free-standing shops, semi detached or terrace type shops in suburban streets.
3. Net Lettable Areas: used for calculating tenancy areas in office buildings and office and business parks.
